How Much is a Good Home Espresso Machine?

A common misconception that people that don’t drink a whole lot of coffee tend to have is that there is really no difference between instant coffee or high quality beans that you might grind and brew yourself in a French press or perhaps an espresso machine. Suffice it to say that this notion has more to do with their inability to taste the variations in different kinds of coffee and appreciate their depth of flavor rather than an inherent fault in coffee itself.

Trying out a really cheap, low end coffee machine and comparing it to what you might be able to make with a high quality product from will amaze you once all has been said and is now out of the way. The reason behind this is that you would actually be able to take note of several flavors such as dark chocolate, berries and many more. This will help you appreciate coffee a lot more than might have been the case otherwise, but it’s important to buy a good machine to use at home lest you end up making espressos that are in no way representative of the flavors that your choice of beans are known for.

A good quality coffee machine that will accurately extract the flavors from your beans instead of just turning the coffee bitter and unpalatable will probably cost around four to six hundred dollars. That might seem like a lot, but remember that they can last for ages at a stretch and on top of all of that they can help you save hundreds of dollars that you might have spent on cafes and other expensive coffee shops.
